My training style is inclusive and fun, and you'll be amazed at how hard you push yourself. 
I consider your current exercise level, your history with sports/recreation or lack thereof, and design training programs that fit your needs and provide support for incremental and sustainable change. No toxic masculinity, no calorie counting, no measurements - just commitment to trying hard.

Meet Shelly


Shelly Rae Holland is a NCSF-certified personal trainer and Master of Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT).

I spent years of my life in the gym with nothing but low self-esteem to show for it. Always pressed for time, I crammed workouts in the morning before work, or sometimes stayed at the gym until eleven pm to finish my joyless workouts. I felt like I hit rock bottom, counting calories on the digital treadmill, going to bed tired and waking up exhausted. I sought therapy, but was unable to get help. Years later, I decided to become a therapist, and now embody a regenerative mindset of radical acceptance.

Now I help other people regain self-love and find joy in exercise from a place of compassion. I believe exercise is a mind-body experience that creates opportunities for us to feel our emotions - all of them, and with good music.

Originally from Half Moon Bay, CA, I’m a nature person who loves to play outside. When I’m not training or providing therapy, I enjoy rock-climbing, bee-keeping, and other activities with hyphens.
